Safety Interlocking System consists of Earthing Switch and Key Multiplier. This ensures the safety of Locomotive staff against risk of high-voltage shock during loco maintenance. Earthing Switch connects the Locomotive main supply points with earth and Key Multiplier provides the safe interlocking.
